Bowl blanks supplied in square format, not 'rounds'. The reason for this is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to source high qiuality timbers, and many of those whom now supply the woordturning world process their timbers square.

- Storage and safety is higher with quare blanks, and you can store more in a given space doe to their stability
- The corners are not wastage, these are stil viable blanks for smaller projects or finishing touches
Most notably, the price of the timber is better controlled as there is no additional processing of the individual squares to cut them to rounds.
