Product description

These tool rolls, which are unique to The ToolPost in the UK, are made of top quality leather that simply drapes like silk, it is so soft and supple. Rest them on your hand and feel the leather slip between your fingers. I have used and seen many tool rolls and bags over the years, but these truly are the pinnacle, the crŠme de la crŠme of storage options. Perfect for wood chisels, framing chisels and other precious cutting tools.

This 7 pocket version is designed to take tools up to a hefty 400mm overall length.

The tool roll is shown holding 1/2" & 1/4" mortise chisels and a 1 1/4" bevel edge chisel, for scale. The tools are for illustration purposes only.

Please note that toolrolls are designed such that the HANDLES of the tools fit into the pockets with the blades laid across the top of the opposing pocket. That way, the tie tapes cinch the roll in to the "waist" of the tool retaining the handle in the pocket and ensuring that the chisel cannot slip out when the roll is when the roll is up-ended. (OK, so now do you understand why your old toolroll has the pockets cut to shreds?).

About The Toolpost

What's to say, this is us! We are woodworkers and have been retailing in the woodturning, carving and woodworking industry for over 20 year, across two generations. We sell tools we would - and indeed do - use. If it is on the shelves, it carries (for one reason or another) our seal of approval. We are wholly independent, we can choose wherever the wind blows, we have no formal affiliation, which makes our opinons and decision the only trulky inpartial ones in the country as things stand.

We have worked with both big and small manufacturers over the years, we have helped brands develop tools, lathes and accessories, as well as creating our own.

We are proud to manufacture, distribute and retail a huge array of tools, equipment, machinery and supplies for woodturning and wood carving from across the globe.
