Reduced prices on 1600 series jig packagesWe all know the trials and tribulations of making those perfect corner joints, be if the basic finger joint or a perfectly proportioned dovetail arrangement. It was with this in mind that we felt it would prove useful to begin stocking jigs, to ease the process of this often taxing task. Initially we will only be stocking the Leigh dovetail jig, but who knows what may end up here!!

Leigh Dovetail Jigs

Leigh Super Series dovetail jigThere are many jigs on offer in the market today, but the Leigh jigs are acknowledged to be the standard by which all others are judged. We believe that the Super Series jigs offered here are the models best suited to smaller workshop use, without sacrificing quality or functionality. If you are accustomed to using dovetail jigs or if you have a specific need for another of the jigs in the Leigh line-up then we will be more than happy advise on other models available.

Features and capabilities of the Super Jig range include:

  • 5/16" & 5/8" box joints with precise fit adjustment
  • Can be simply fitted with matching VRS vacuum and router support
  • Non-slip clamping surface
  • Cam action clamps for fast operation
  • Includes Leigh e-Bush Template Guide Bush, easing fitting adjustment
  • Under-cut side stops
  • Easy to read scales
  • The system is intended for use with 8mm router bits and is supplied with a 1/2" to 8mm reducer for those using 1/2" collet routers.  1/4" cutters are also available but not reommended for this type of work
  • Available in 12", 18" and 24" widths to suit your work style; minimum board width 7/8"
  • Board capacity 1/8" to 1" thick
  • 18" and 24" versions can also cut Isoloc joints using optional template
  • Wide range of optional templates available
