The BCT range is now extended with the introduction of the aptly named VersaTool. Available in three sizes (1/2 inch standard, the new 5/8" Midi and 3/4 inch 'Maximus' shanks) these are a new generation of 'Hollowing' tools incorporating a stabiliser bar for perfect control when carrying out undercutting or hooking operations. The tool systems are fitted with the BCT versions of the well known "Arkansas" toothpick manufactured from cobalt HSS for long life use. The tools are supplied ready for use as  hollowing tool.  The stabiliser can easily be removed by loosening the locking screw and re-attached when required. For further versatility, alternative tips are available to convert these tool into 'Supercut' -style tools.  The alternative tips mount into a registered pocket, fixing the cutter at the optimum cutting angle (just as on the Supercut Junior).  Simply put on the tip, tighten the securing screw and you're away with what's essentially a classic 'Supercut'. Never in the field of woodturning has one tool shown so much versatility in so many applications.....well, at least in hollowing applications!
