DB800 Woodturning Lathe

The Wivamac DB800 is a bench-mounted lathe designed to be accommodated in the smaller workshop.  Not that this is a "small" lathe in either capacity or capability sharing, as it does, the massive 260 mm centre height of its bigger cousins and being compatible with most of the vast range of accessories available to extend the capability of these lathes beyond most imaginations.  For sure it is a compact design, which utilises space brilliantly, but it will not limit your creativity in the way that so many conventionally "small" lathes might. In spindle turning applications, the DB800 will accommodate 820 mm between centres.

Although the smallest lathe in the DB range, the DB800 does not compromise on drive choice with both single- and three-phase versions driving through a four speed poly-vee-belt drive system available.  More advanced users, requiring a variable speed control system, are catered for by the DB800 vario version as well as the companion DB801/DB802vario lathes.

Take a look through the specifications, below, or browse the more comprehensive component descriptions provided and see what a "real" lathe could bring to your world!  When you are ready to place your order, please call us on 01235 511101.
